As a result of consumer demand for the popular Ram 1500 EcoDiesel, Ram has announced it will increase the production mix of the model, which is the most fuel efficient truck on the market today; in coming months.
Last winter, the light-duty 1500 EcoDiesel arrived with much fanfare, receiving 8,000 orders three days after its release and subsequently selling out. The powertrain is popular because it delivers on both fuel-economy and performance; the model features a 3.0L EcoDiesel engine, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and exceptional torque capabilities, all while reducing CO2 emissions.
