The 2016 Durango V-8 AWD
In a world full of minivans and soccer mom SUVs, it’s hard to stand out from the crowd. Luckily, Dodge has released The R/T AWD ‘rebel’ version of it’s already well known sporty Dodge Durango.
This racy model replaces the standard 295-hp 3.6-liter V-6, with a 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 creating a whopping 360-hp. While this model starts at a $45,490 price tag, the features included more than make up for it. According to Car & Driver, this Durango comes with, “equipped with heated (first two rows) and ventilated (front only) leather seats, three seating rows for six occupants, a two-speed transfer case, three-zone automatic climate control, premium audio with an 8.4-inch touchscreen and wheel-spoke controls, and a slew of power outlets. Supporting the Racy/Trendy label, there are paddle shifters, a sport suspension with a ride height dropped by nearly an inch, 20-inch aluminum wheels fitted with 265/50R-20 low-rolling-resistance all-season radials, and dual exhaust tips.” – (Continue reading Car & Drivers review online).
